Our Team
The Dream
JD and Dean teamed up with a common love and passion for craft beer. JD has worked at some capacity in the brewing industry for the past 10+ years. When JD is not brewing up delicious beers, you can find JD playing disc golf, kayaking, hanging out with his girlfriend and dog, or at another brewery enjoying local brews! When Dean focusing on brewery operations, you can find him fishing, hanging out with his family and dog, or adding to his list of over 400 different breweries visited! Together they developed the dream and vision to someday bring Cartersville GA it’s first hometown craft brewery, Drowned Valley Brewing Company.
Bringing the Dream to Life
Through hard work, fate and a little luck, JD and Dean approached the building owners, the Holts and Hamiltons, to invest in Drowned Valley Brewing in 2018. Soon after this meeting a partnership was formed in order to bring the Dream of Drowned Valley Brewing Company to Life. Together, the team built this brewery with our mission statement at the forefront of everything we do, “Striving to grow our community by building relationships through our passion for locally hand-crafted beer!” We are excited and humbled to bring you our dream project and look forward to your visit to the brewery soon!
